Robbie Price Takes Lumps During Hanford, CA and Placerville, CA Debuts

PETERSEN MEDIA- Visiting two tracks for the first time over the weekend, Robbie Price had a tough go, but remains in positive after his debut at both the Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, CA and the Placerville Speedway in Placerville, CA.

“Both tracks were their own beats, and I struggled a little,’ Price said. “I didn’t time well on Friday night, and a really tough track made for a long night, and on Saturday things went well until the feature.”

Making his debut at the Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, CA on Friday night with the Duinkerken Farms King of Kings 360 series, Price got off to a slow start as he timed in 19th fastest on an extremely slick and rough track.

Finishing fifth in his heat race from his seventh starting position, Price would line up in the 16th spot for the 30-lap feature event. With the track extremely slick and dusty, Price played it safe as visibility became an issue during the feature event, and tried as best as he could to save his equipment.

Making sure to hit his marks, Price would take the checkered flag on Friday night with a 13th place finish.

Traveling to the Placerville Speedway on Saturday night with the Civil War Series Presented By Flowmaster, Price’s night would get off to a much better start, as he timed in fifth fastest.

Getting through his heat race and earning a spot in the dash, Price would finish in the seventh spot, putting the Raylle Auto Sales/Millstone Heating and Sheet Metal/Tiger Towing No. 21p machine in the fourth row for the feature event.

Running inside the Top-10 early in the feature event, Price would get turned around, and be forced to tag the tail end of the field. On the extremely slick racing surface, Price would hit his marks and work his way forward, only to have contact late in the race get him turned around again, ending his night.

“I am quickly looking forward to running next weekend to put this behind us,” Price added. “We will get it put back together, and see what we can do.”

Price and his team would like to thank Raylle Auto Sales, Millstone Heating and Sheet Metal, Tiger Towing, Rod End Supply, Northwest School of Martial Arts, Shark Racing Engines, and Speedmart for their support during the 2015 season.
