PETERSEN MEDIA- Rebounding from an early tangle on Saturday night at Placerville Speedway, Justin Sanders had his elbows up as he drove his way from the back of the pack to finish fourth.

“I have to thank Dale and Tara Miller, and this team for all of their hard work the last couple of weeks,” Justin Sanders said. “We were really fast at Placerville Speedway on Saturday. Unfortunately we got collected early in the race, and came from the back went some bent up parts and came home fourth.”

Timing the Thompson’s Buick-GMC/Thompson’s Jeep-Ram/Dale Miller Septic, Inc. backed No. 4SA machine in 12th fastest in time trials amongst the 28 cars checked into the pit area, Sanders would get the job done in his heat as the win made him eligible for the redraw.

Drawing the six pill, Sanders would line up in the third row to start the 25-lap feature event. On a racy surface, trouble would strike Sanders on the third lap.

Being forced to the work area after contact left him facing the wrong direction in turns one and two, the Miller Motorsports team would fix all they could in the allotted two-minutes to get Sanders back on the speedway.

With a beaten and battered front wing, Sanders would in fact make the call and then proceed to put on a show.

Working through traffic, Sanders wasted no time climbing back into the Top-10, as he would find himself up in eight when the caution was needed on the 17th lap.

Taking advantage of the restart, Sanders would continue to work his way forward in the final eight laps of the race as he capped a strong night with a fourth place finish.

“We were really good in the feature event,” Sanders added. “We are figuring things out nightly and it is making us that much better each time we hit the track. Again, big thanks to Dale, Tara, and everyone involved with this team.”

The Dale Miller Motorsports team would like to thank Thompson’s Buick-GMC, Thompson’s Jeep-Ram, Dale Miller Septic, Inc., North County Plastering, Anrak Corporation, Yuba-Sutter Aviation, Frank’s Body Shop, Wion’s Powder Coating, Walker Performance Filtration, Factory Kahne Shocks, Smith Titanium, FK Rod Ends, Triple X Race Co., King Racing Products, A.R.T. Speed Equipment, and Vortex Wings for their support.
