Sanders Motorsports Barn Burner Series Roaring Back To Life

PETERSEN MEDIA: Things continue to come together for the Sanders Motorsports Barn Burner Series in Chowchilla, CA, and the staff is excited with what is to come starting with a Test and Tune Session on Sunday at the track in Chowchilla, CA.

Sunday’s event will go green with a Beginner Box and Beginner Flat training clinic at 11am. Around noon, the track will open up for practice with drivers and karts welcome to get their first look at the track that has been prepared for the upcoming Winter season inside the barn.

Gates will open at 10am on Sunday with driver and kart passes available for $25, and regular pit passes being sold for $10. The session will last until 4pm, and for those unfamiliar it is located at 16000 Ave. 25 Chowchilla, CA.

With the season quickly approaching some house keeping details that you should be aware of. On Saturday races the gates will open at 2pm, drivers meeting will take place at 4pm, hot laps at 445pm, and time trials would begin at 530pm with racing to follow.

Sunday’s program will get off to a much earlier start with gates opening at 9am, the drivers meeting taking place at 11am, hot laps at 1145am, and time trials going green at 1230pm with racing to follow.

Raceday pricing will consist of a $50 pit pass/entry fee for all drivers with the exception of Beginner Box and Beginner Flat drivers who pit pass and entry fee will be just $35. Regular pit passes will be available for just $20, while seniors over 55 and kids 6-12 (non driers) will be available for $10.

Please note that the Thanksgiving Kart Nationals will have an adjusted price scale.

Memberships are available for purchase and make drivers eligible for point fund, and give drivers and crew a discounted pit fee at each event.

Driver Memberships are available for $80, and they come with a weekly $5 discount, as well as make a driver point fund eligible (top three), while crew memberships are available for $30, and also come with a weekly $5 pit pass discount.

The 2018 Sanders Motorsports Barn Burner Series will be comprised of nine (9) classes including Beginner Box (4-7yo), Box Stock (8-12yo), Beginner Flat (5-9yo), Junior Flat (9-14yo), Clone (14yo and up), Pure Stock (13 and up), Stock Appearing (15 and up), 250cc (10 and up), 500cc (12 and up). Drivers may move up one year prior to age requirement with prior experience and track approval prior to raceday.

Payout information for all divisions (except beginner classes) will vary on car counts and will look like this.
