PETERSEN MEDIA- Enduring a few races of bad luck, Parker Price-Miller was able to shake his misfortune on Saturday night as he earned a fourth place finish at Spoon River.
“We had a stretch there where we could not seem to finish a race, so to finish fourth feel pretty good at this point,” Price Miller said.
‘The Law Firm” kicked his weekend off on Friday night at the Jacksonville Speedway. Lining up eighth in his heat race, the Kokomo, IN driver had a very strong heat race, as he was able to race his PPM Titanium Products/Indy Race Parts/Keizer Wheels No. 9p machine up to the second spot.
Racing his way into the Dash, Price-Miller would advance to the second spot after starting fifth, and would put his entry on the front row for the feature event. As the race went green, Price-Miller got off to a strong start as he took command of the race and began checking out.
Bad luck would find Price-Miller however, as he would experience brake issues and his night would come to a close.
“I really thought we had the car to beat on Friday night, and it was just disappointing to have our night end the way it did,” Price-Miller noted.
Saturday night, PPM and his team headed to Spoon River to see if he could shake his luck. Working his way up to the fourth spot after starting his heat race in ninth, Price-Miller would just miss out on the Dash, and would line up in the seventh spot for the A Main.
With his car a tick on the free side, Price-Miller would do what he could on the super-slick racing surface. Still able to pick up a few spots during the course of the race, Price-Miller would shake off his bad luck and finish in the fourth spot.
“I just want to thank everyone involved with our team for all of their efforts in what was a tough couple of weekends,” he added. “It was great to finally finish after three nights of failures and driver mistakes.”
Price-Miller and his team would like to thank PPM Titanium Products, Indy Race Parts, Keizer Wheels, CSI Shocks, Select Equipment, Wesmar Racing Engines, Esslinger, and Triple X Race Components for their continued support.
