The Shark Tallies Spooktacular Top 5 with Worden Family Racing

PETERSEN MEDIA- Sean Becker has been a Top-5 machine as of late, and the same remained true on Saturday night as he charged to a fifth place finish at Marysville Raceway aboard the Worden Family Racing No. 63 car.

“I was really happy to get the call from Ivan and Jane Worden to pilot their car on Saturday night,” Sean Becker said. “I was hoping for some redemption after crashing out the last time we race, but I just couldn’t get through traffic how I would have liked.”

Timing the No. 63 machine in seventh fastest amongst the 29 cars packed into the pit area for the annual Spooktacular event, Becker would charge from his second row heat race starting position to pick up a second place finish and transfer directly into the feature event.

Missing out on a spot inside the redraw, Becker would line up 11thin the 25-lap feature event. With the start of the race slowed by stoppages, Becker would get going once the race got into a bit of a flow. Able to navigate his way through the Top-10, “The Shark” would pounce late to crack the Top-Five.

Battling with Blake Carrick and Jake Haulot in the closing stages of the race, Becker would keep the fifth spot at the line and pocket his 21stTop-5 of the season.

“We continued to get better each and every time we hit the track, and I think that shows,” Becker added. “Again, grateful for the opportunity to run the No. 63 cars, I always feel so fast when I run their car.”
