Tiner 11th at Keller Auto Speedway

PETERSEN MEDIA: Friday night at the Keller Auto Speedway, Steven Tiner would make his first start at the speedway in over a month and pick up an 11th place finish.

“We were just okay on Friday night,” Tiner said. “The track stayed really good all night, and that made passing a little difficult.”

Timing his Steven Tiner Racing/Larry David Farms/Wright Process Systems No. 94 machine in 13th fastest, Tiner would just narrowly miss out on the heat race inversion as he lined up in the third row of his heat race.

Battlign with Richard Vander Weerd in his heat, Tiner would hang to finish in the fifth and final transfer spot as he moved into the 30-lap feature event where he would grid the field in the seventh row aboard his Deli Delicious/Fisher Racing Engines/Harvest Supply backed entry.

When the race came to life, the Visalia, CA driver would battle with the Faccinto brothers, on a track that kept a ton of grip on this night. Working to get into the Top-10, Tiner could not get by Michael Faccinto as he closed his night out with an 11th place finish.

“It wasn’t an extremely tough track to pass on, but you had to work for it, and I just could not get going how I would have liked,” Tiner said. “I really want to thank everyone that helped out on Friday, as well as all of my sponsors who continue to support this team.”

Steven and his Steven Tiner Racing team would like to thank Larry Davis Farms, Wright Process Systems, Elma Lanes, Deli Delicious, Fisher Racing Engines, Harvest Supply, Powder Coat-It, SRP, Wilwood, FSR, XYZ Machine, DMI, Dan Olson Race Products, HRP, Sander Engineering, Sweet Manufacturing, Schoenfeld, and Roseville Precision for their continued support.

2015 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-27, Wins-2, Top 5’s-12, Top 10’s-17

ON TAP: At this time Tiner is unsure of when his next race will be.
