PETERSEN MEDIA- Climbing back aboard a potent Roth Motorsports entry to open up his 2017 season, Tim Kaeding thrilled the crowd during two nights of action in Tulare, CA as he recorded a pair of Top-10 finishes with the World of Outlaws.

“I was pretty happy with how things went considering I had not been in a car since November,” Tim Kaeding said. “Dennis and Teresa Roth always have a great equipment, and Todd, Jeff, and Cori worked hard all weekend to give me a great car.”

Known for his high flying ways at the Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, CA, the San Jose, CA native opened the weekend up by timing the Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation/Roth Investments No. 83jr machine sixth fastest in qualifying time trials.

On a heavy surface in heat race action, TK would finish in the third spot and punch his ticket into the 35-lap ‘A’ Main. Lining up in the fifth row of the feature event, Kaeding would work around the tricky track battling with the likes of Ian Madsen and his teammate Kyle Hirst.

Falling out of the Top-10 at one point of the race, TK would get the high side working, and would race his way forward up well into the Top-10. As the laps clicked off and action picked up all over the speedway, Kaeding would take the checkered flag in the 10th spot.

Back in action one night later, Kaeding would have issues in time trials and would ultimately end up 24th on the speed charts. Lining up sixth in his heat race, TK would make a couple of big moves to get up into fourth and safely transfer into the 35-lap finale.

Getting collected in another drivers stoppage on the fifth lap, Kaeding would tag the back of the pack and put on a show during the final 30-laps of the race. With the track slick on this night, Kaeding would pass cars at will as he moved into the Top-10 before the rubber would go down on the speedway.

Battling with Carson Macedo on the rubber, Kaeding would hold the spot and close the weekend out with an eighth place finish.

“It is great to run well for Dennis and Teresa Roth since it is so close to their home base,” TK added. “We would have loved to have been up front battling for the win, but I have to thank them for allowing me to run with the Outlaws in California, and hopefully we can be up front at Stockton this weekend.”

The Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, HR Livestock Transportation, Roth Investments, Southern Pacific Farms, 3H Cattle, FK Rod Ends, Weld Wheels, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Kent Performance, Kaeding Performance, and Astro Titanium for their support in 2016.
