PETERSEN MEDIA- With his schedule often times up in the air and unknown, Tommy Tarlton is excited to announce that he will be in action three times this weekend, including twice with the King of the West Series.
“I am really looking forward to this weekend,” Tommy Tarlton said. “I am looking forward to the challenge of running three nights in a row, and am looking forward to doing a little 410ci racing as well.”
Tarlton was already scheduled to run at the Ocean Speedway on Friday night as he will look to pick up his second win of the 2016 season there, but the Easton, CA driver has decided to take on the King of the West Series at the Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, CA on Saturday night, and again at the Stockton Dirt Track on Sunday night, a track he has never seen before.
“I have always been really comfortable racing in Hanford, CA and I think it will be fun to get back there for the first time this year on Saturday night,” Tarlton added. “I have never been to Stockton Dirt Track, but I know our team has been really strong there over the last couple of seasons, and I am looking forward to seeing how we can do there with myself in the car.”
Tommy Tarlton is no stranger to the King of the West scene as he has secured eight career wins with the series, his most recent coming during the 2014 season opening event in Tulare, CA.
The Tarlton Motorsports team has been strong with the series over the last few years as Carson Macedo claimed the series Championship one year ago aboard a potent Tarlton Motorsports entry, and currently Tarlton’s teammate, Kyle Hirst, leads the series standings on the strength of two feature event wins.
