PETERSEN MEDIA- Putting a tough night at Stockton Dirt Track quickly behind him, Mason Moore is ready for a monster week of racing that will see him in action on three occasions at three different tracks with three sanctioning bodies.
“Stockton was just one of those nights you try to forget about as fast as you can,” Mason Moore said. “Fortunately there is quick turn around for our team this week, and we can focus on what is really a busy week for us.”
After seeing his night come to an end in the Last Chance Showdown on Saturday night, Moore will quickly be back aboard his Coors Light/Econo Lube-n-Tune and Brakes/Geico Local Office backed No. 22 machine on Wednesday night in Placerville, CA.
“Last year I was able to win the track championship at Placerville Speedway and run really well there all season long, so with the Outlaws in town on Wednesday night, I am hoping to continue to have speed at the bullring.”
When the checkered flag flies on the WoO event, Moore and company will then get their 360ci engine ready and head to Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday night to compete with the Civil War Series in what is their second event of the 2017 season.
“We ran with the Civil War Series during their opening event in Chico a couple weeks back and ran fifth,” Moore noted. “Hopefully we can better that on Friday night and give our home crowd a show.”
Moore’s busy week comes to a head on Saturday night when he rejoins the F&F Racing team in Antioch, CA to take on the Sprint Car Challenge Tour in what will be the new series’ first ever event.
“There is a lot of good stuff coming from this new series, and I know I am looking forward to finally getting things underway,” Moore said. “There will be a lot of cars there, and I think the F&F Racing team will be in the mix at the end of the night.”
