Troy Foulger, Kelly Wilkinson, Kevin Irwin, and Shawn DePriest All Claim Wins During Ed Parker Memor

(PETERSEN MEDIA- Merced, CA)- Paying homage to the late, great Ed Parker on Saturday at Merced Speedway, an overflowing pit area saw Troy Foulger, Kelly Wilkinson, Kevin Irwin, and Shawn DePriest each claim victories in their respective divisions.

With 29 IMCA Modifieds checked in for battle, it was Troy Foulger picking up the win. Chasing Foulger across the line was Randy Brown, Robby Sawyer, Cody Burke, and Trevor Fitz.

35 IMCA Sport Mods were back on the bullring, and Kelly Wilkinson proved to be in the right place at the right time and grabbed the win after taking the green from the 11th starting position. Danny Roe, Fred Ryland, Guy Ahlwardt, and Nick Tucker completed the Top-5.

In Hobby Stock action, 25 entrants would see Kevin Irwin get to the checkered flag first. Irwin would pick up the win Nicholas Johnson, Rob Gallaher, Michael Shearer, and DJ Keldsen.

A nice 13 car field was in attendance for Mini Stock action and Shawn DePriest was victorious. DePriest grabbed top honors over Lee Ragsdale, Shayla Gould, Kevin Lockerby, and Lucy Falkenburg.

The action continues this Saturday night at Merced Speedway as the BCRA Midget Lites return to the speedway along with Hobby Stocks, Valley Sportsman, and the Legends of Kearney Bowl.

Adult tickets are available for $12, Seniors for $10, Kids 6-12 for $5 and those young fans five and under are admitted for free.
