PETERSEN MEDIA: One week ago, Dakota Hendrickson was involved in a scary wreck at the Knoxville Raceway. After essentially taking the week off from racing, Hendrickson, and his entire Van Dyke Motorsports team are geared up for Knoxville 360 Nationals that kick off this Thursday night.
“This past week with the NSL, we just start and parked essentially as I wasn’t cleared to race wheel-to-wheel yet,” Dakota Hendrickson said. “I am cleared now and am very excited for this week.”
While Hendrickson is doing well after the week to rest and recover he is set to hit the track for his qualifying night on Friday night. This week, Van Dyke Motorsports will be a two-car team, as Carson McCarl will pilot a second Van Dyke Motorsports entry, and he will hit the track on Thursday night for his qualifying night.
“Carson has worked hard for me and the team all year long, and I am very excited to have him as a teammate this week,” Hendrickson said. “I am excited that I will be back in the 5h, and am equally as excited to see the 5c in action too. Hopefully we can both have a very good week for Harley Van Dyke.”
The Van Dyke Motorsports team would like to thank Lucas Oil, K&N Products, JRI Shocks, NAAKE Suspension, FSR Radiators, for their support during the year.
