PETERSEN MEDIA- Battling with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour over the weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway, Harli White was pleased with how she performed up until brake issues forced her to pull in early.
“The night was going really well for us, but unfortunately we had some more bad luck that knocked us out of competition,” White said.
Lining her Mesilla Valley Transportation/Jerry Tucker Roustabout/Lucas Oil No. 17w machine up in the third row of her heat race, the Lindsay, OK driver would work her way to a fourth place finish.
Passing points would just narrowly lock her into the A Main event, as she would grid the field from the eighth row. With the waiving of the green flag, White was hard on the throttle as she began working her way forward against the star-studded field of cars.
Racing inside the Top-10, White would work her way up into the seventh spot, as she looked to further improve her track position. While running seventh, White would lose a left rear brake caliper, and it would force her to bring her night to an early end.
“I was disappointed with having to pull in,” White said. “We started from the back and had a really good car that was capable of moving forward. I have to thank everyone that continues to support me and this race team.”
Harli White Racing would like to thank Mesilla Valley Transportation, Jerry Tucker Roustabout, Lucas Oil, Charlie’s Trucking, PXP Racewear, All Star Cafe, Boyd’s Racing Engines, Race Chic, Crash Enterprises, Outlaw Wings, Super Flow Testers, Simpson, Classic Seagulls UK, Eagle Motorsports, and the Shriners Hospital For Children Gavelston for their support during the 2015 season.
