Getting into his home state with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, Donny Schatz continues to be nearly unbeatable. Taking to River Cities Speedway and Red River Valley Speedway, Schatz defended his home turf well as he used his KSE Racing Products to sweep the weekend.
On the West Coast it was a trio of drivers scoring wins in all starts of the state. Friday night Tanner Thorson steered his way to victory in Chico, CA at the Tyler Wolf Memorial, and on Saturday night Justyn Cox scored his second consecutive Mark Forni Classic win in Placerville, CA while DJ Netto took top honors with the King of Kings 360 Series in Hanford, CA.
Robert Ballou had his elbows us as he used a last lap pass to win the Dick Gaines Memorial, Zach Daum won with the POWRi Series at Angell Park Speedway while Scotty Thiel joined him in victory lane with the IRA, Austin McCarl beat the Knoxville Hangover at Park Jefferson Speedway, while Jack Dover, Justin Henderson, and Brady Forbrook were also victorious with KSE Racing Products.
