World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Set For Final California Race of Spring Swing Tomorrow


PETERSEN MEDIA- While Mother Nature has been the one to beat during the 2018 Spring California Swing for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, she has appeared to step aside to allow ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ to get the final race of their trip to the golden state in tomorrow night at Bakersfield Speedway.

Saturday night will marks the series’ final visit in California until they make a return trip later in the Fall. An extremely talented field of National travelers is expected to be on hand including Donny Schatz, Sheldon Haudenschild, David Gravel, Daryn Pittman, Brad Sweet, Logan Schuchart, Jacob Allen, Jason Sides, Tim Shaffer, Brian Brown, Joey Saldana, Jason Johnson, Ian Madsen, Shane Stewart, Aaron Reutzel, Paul McMahan, and a host of others as they look to keep the local contingent out of victory lane.

While the invaders will look for one last California victory, the stars and cars of the Golden State will look to defend their home turf led by last week’s winner, Cory Eliason, Kyle Hirst, Tim Kaeding, Carson Macedo, Shane Golobic, Gio Scelzi, Dominic Scelzi, Rico Abreu, Willie Crof, Bud Kaeding, DJ Netto, and many more.

Following a week of brutal weather in the Central Valley, Scott Schweitzer and his staff have been putting in tireless hours to get Bakersfield Speedway in fine form for the highly anticipated event on Saturday night and things are coming together beautifully.

During the two races that have beat the rain during the swing, the theme as been first time winners with the series. Clute, TX driver, Aaron Reutzel picked up his first career series win in Tulare, CA while Kingsburg, CA pilot, Cory Eliason picked up his first career series win on Saturday night in Stockton, CA.
