Sean Becker Nets NARC Top-10
PETERSEN MEDIA- Sean Becker and the Bjork Motorsports team took to Watsonville Speedway on Friday night for another round of NARC action, and the Roseville, CA driver picked up a 10th place finish at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds facility.
“Unfortunately, we didn’t get timed in well, and with how the track raced it definitely hurt,” Sean Becker said. “Despite the track being pretty narrow and fast, we were still able to move up a few spots in the feature and tally a Top-10.”
23 cars made the trip to Watsonville Speedway on Friday night for the series’ second visit of the season, and Becker got the night underway by timing the Bjork Construction backed No. 7B in 13th fastest in time trials.
Lining up in the third row of his heat race, Becker finished fifth which then put him in the seventh row to start the 30-lap feature event.
When the feature event went green, Becker shuffled back to 14th as the field jockeyed for position around the tight confines of the newly configured Watsonville Speedway.
With the opening 14 laps going nonstop, Becker moved into 13th on the race’s first restart and then was able to jump up to 11th on a second restart just a few circuits later.
Ripping around in the 11th position, Becker moved into the Top-10 on the 26th lap. Once in 10th, Becker was able to settle in and close his night out with his seventh Top-10 of the season.
