PETERSEN MEDIA- Back in action with NARC on Saturday night in Antioch, CA, Chance Grasty had another strong showing with the series as he landed on the podium with a third-place finish.

With the High Limit Swing and Calistoga Speedway in the rear-view mirror, the NARC schedule bridged the gap before the upcoming World of Outlaws swing in California.

Checking in at Antioch Speedway on Saturday night, Grasty got his night underway by timing the Bushey Financial Services/C&H Motor Parts/Sierra Single Ply Roofing backed No. x1 entry in third quickest in qualifying time trials.

Lining up on the pole of his heat race, the Suisun City, CA driver took full advantage of the prime starting spot on the ultra-fast surface as he surged to the race lead. Keeping the field at bay, Grasty picked up the win and moved into the Dash where his second-place finish put him on the front row of the impending 30-lap feature.

When the race went green, Grasty was unable to get the start he needed as he fell back to fourth and began to chase after Landon Brooks who ran just ahead of him in third. Narrow conditions at Antioch Speedway didn’t allow for the field to get racy as the youngster continued to look for a way to get on the podium.

A late yellow flag bunched the field back up for the race’s final restart and Grasty was able to take advantage as he moved into third when the green lights flashed back on.

Holding the position for the final four laps, Grasty closed his race out with a third-place finish.
