PETERSEN MEDIA- Getting back to NARC action on Saturday night, Sean Becker and the Bjork Motorsports team found themselves back in Tulare, CA where ‘The Shark’ pocketed a 10^th-place finish.

“After the speed we had in Tulare, CA a couple of weeks ago, we went into Saturday night with a lot of confidence,” Sean Becker said. “Unfortunately, we were just a bit off all night.”

With 25 cars checked in on Saturday night for the series’ second appearance of the season at Thunderbowl Raceway, Becker timed the Bjork Construction/Kaeding Performance backed No. 7B entry in ninth fastest in time trials.

Lining up on the front row of his heat race, Becker settled into second as the field raced into turns one and two. With passing tough for much of the night, Becker’s second place finish moved him into the 30-lap feature event where he took the green flag from the ninth starting position.

With the Thunderbowl Raceway surface staying pretty fast for the entirety of the night, Becker spent his night battling hard inside the for a spot inside the Top-10 with passing tough during the 30-lapper.

As he fell back to 11^th with the waving of the green flag, Becker fought hard as he battled with some of the region’s best on the famed 1/3 mile bullring.

Getting into the Top-10 on the 22^nd lap, Becker then battled back and forth in the closing laps for the spot until he finally secured 10^th coming to the checkered flag.

“I just need to do a little bit better job of driving this thing to the front,” Becker added. “I am really looking forward to a double header weekend in a couple of weeks so our team can get into a rhythm.”
