Brandon Wimmer Teams with Scott Benic for Upcoming High Limit Event at Kokomo Speedway
PETERSEN MEDIA: Fairmont, IN driver Brandon Wimmer, loves every opportunity he can get to race at his home track, Kokomo Speedway. With winged racing rare at the track, Wimmer is excited to announce that he will pilot the Scott Benic – owned No. 2B entry when High Limit Racing invades on May 8th and 9th.
“I love racing at Kokomo Speedway, because it’s a great facility and it is always so much fun to race in front of family and friends,” Brandon Wimmer said. “I am really thankful that Scott Benic has presented me with the opportunity, and I am looking forward to working with him again. From his days working for my grandfather on the No. 7TW car, I have known him my whole life, and he has always supported my racing career.”
As the team sets their sights on the Kokomo Speedway weekend, they have hopes to expand on their schedule if they can attract additional marketing partners.
“Scott and I both love to race, so if we can have a good weekend and attract a few more partners, we would love to expand our schedule and run a few more races this season,” Wimmer added.
Running around a 20-race schedule the last few years, 2026 is a bit of a question mark for Wimmer. At this time, this is the only race on his schedule, something he is hoping to change in the coming weeks.
“It would be great if we can add to our schedule, but I am focused on having a fun weekend with Scott Benic and his team, and hoping we can run well against some of the best in the business,” Wimmer added.
