Chance Grasty 11th with F&F Racing in Stockton, CA
PETERSEN MEDIA- Returning to the Stockton Dirt Track two weeks removed from his season opening win, Chance Grasty and F&F Racing had their 410ci power plant bolted in as they picked up an 11th place finish with the NARC/KWS during their 2025 season opening event.
“I was really excited to get back to Stockton on Saturday night after our success there a couple of weeks ago,” Chance Grasty said. “On top of that it was our first 410ci race of the season and I was excited about that as well.”
With 25 cars checked into the pits for the series opening event of the 2025 season, the Suisun, CA driver timed the Bushey Financial Services/C&H Motor Parts/Single Sierra Ply Roofing backed No. x1 in 13th fastest in qualifying time trials.
Making some adjustments in between qualifying and his heat, Grasty took the green flag from the fifth starting position on the tight confines of the Stockton Dirt Track. Finishing sixth, Grasty found himself in the feature event as he was slated to roll off of the starting grid from the 16th starting position.
As the F&F Racing team continued to work on their entry to get it to the youngsters liking, Grasty had a solid showing in the feature event.
Running a very smart race, the youngster worked his way up into 10th in the waning laps of the feature event, and in the end he capped the night off with an 11th place result.
“We were a little off early in the night, and that put us in a bit of a hole, and then in the heat race I made a couple of mistakes which put us in the eight row of the feature event,” Grasty said. “In the feature event I felt really good and was able to work my way into the Top-10, but a couple of late restarts saw me slip back to finish 11th.”
