PETERSEN MEDIA: 2022 has been an impressive season for Lubbock, TX 16-year-old, Brenham Crouch. Though that first win has eluded him to date, Crouch has been a pillar of consistency all around the country and it has him currently leading the point standings with the POWRi National Midget Series and sitting second with the Xtreme Outlaws Midget Series.

“Looking back at our season, I have gained a lot of speed in a consistent matter, but I know I still have some things to work on,” Brenham Crouch said. “This season I have been able to do some things in a car that I haven’t been able to do in the past and it has led us to a very good spot with the POWRi National Series as well as the Xtreme Midgets.”

Piloting a potent Keith Kunz Motorsports prepared midget, Crouch has been very strong with the aforementioned series, as well as with the USAC National Midget Series and flirted with his first career win back in February during the season opening event.

While he will continue to chase after that first win, Crouch continues to position him as a threat on any given night. Through 30 midget races in 2022 Crouch has tabulated 24 Top-10’s and of those 11 have been Top-5’s including five podium finishes.

As of late, Crouch has grabbed another gear aboard the Toyota/CURB Records/IWX backed No. 97 midget as he has strong together 10 consecutive Top-10 finishes and has helped propel himself to the top of the standings with the POWRi National Midget Series and the Xtreme Outlaws Midgets (Second), and he also sits 10th in USAC National Midget points.

“We are still chasing after our first win of the season, and I know it will come because I have a great hardworking team behind me made up of some really solid guys who want to win as bad as I do,” Crouch added. “As we get into the nitty gritty of our season, there is nothing more that I want than to pick up a couple of wins to go along with a championship. I want to head into our indoor season as a known contender, and I have the team around me to do that. I can’t thank everyone at Keith Kunz Motorsports for the continued hard work and support, and I am excited for what is ahead for this group.”

Brenham Crouch would like to thank Keith Kunz Motorsports, Toyota, Curb Records, and IWX for their support in 2022.

BY THE NUMBERS: Starts- 30, Wins-0, Top-5’s- 11, Top-10’s-24

ON TAP: Crouch will be in action with the POWRi National Midget’s this weekend as he will be at Charleston Speedway on Friday night and Macon Speedway on Saturday.
