PETERSEN MEDIA: Aside from taking on the King of the West Series on Saturday night at Placerville Speedway, Andy Gregg will mix it up in the Sacramento community on Thursday night as he will work in conjunction with GUTS Racing partner, Angius and Terry LLP and take part in a Community Association Institute Barbeque at the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House on Thursday night.
“I am really thankful that Jonathan and Angius and Terry LLP thought of GUTS Racing when this event came up on their calendar,” Andy Gregg said. “The Ronald McDonald house is a great organization, and I am really looking forward to meeting some families and kids and letting them check out our car and hand out some goodies.”
While showcasing his GUTS Racing No. 16 winged sprint car, Gregg will be letting children and families take a look at the operation, snap a photo inside of it and take home an Andy Gregg autograph card as well as some special edition Angius and Terry LLP/GUTS Racing T Shirts.
“This is bigger than racing, and it is an honor to be a part of this event,” Gregg said. “I am really pleased with the partnership we have had with Angius and Terry LLP over the last two seasons, and this is really a pretty cool afternoon that they have planned out.”
The Sacramento Ronald McDonald House has served more than 17,000 families since opening it’s doors back in 1998. The Ronald McDonald house helps children and their families by providing a home away form home atmosphere where families can rest, reflect, and find mutual support from other families facing similar struggles.
Following Thursday’s appearance, Gregg and team will get their car ready to return to racing action as they are slated to take on the King of the West Series when they invade Placerville Speedway on Saturday night.
