(Hanford, CA)- Saturday night an all open-wheel show takes over the Keller Auto Speedway as the USAC West Coast 360’s, USAC Western States Midgets, and the RaceSaver 305’s will all be in action during the 6th Annual Jim Evett Memorial.
The USAC West Coast 360 Series will be gunning for extra incentives on Saturday night, as the Evett family has raised an extra $3,000 for this event with $100 going to the leader of each lap during the 30-lap A Main.
In the most recent USAC West Coast 360 event at the Keller Auto Speedway, it was local product, Danny Faria picking up a dominating win back in early August. During the series’ most recent win at the Santa Maria Speedway, it was Faria again grabbing the win, as he continues to lead the series standings over Richard Vander Weerd, Trey Marcham, DJ Johnson, and Jace Vander Weerd, with just five races to go on the schedule.
The USAC Western States Midgets come into Saturday’s event fresh off of a strong Speedweek at the beginning of the month. With Speedweek wins going to Rico Abreu, Ryan Bernal, Chase Stockon and Alex Schutte, it is Ronnie Gardner holding a commanding points lead as the series makes their lone stop at the Keller Auto Speedway on Saturday night.
The RaceSaver 305’s will also be on the card Saturday night. Two weeks ago, Blake Robertson turned in yet another dominating performance as he continues to lead the way in this first year division. Other drivers likely to be on hand to challenge Robertson include Jesse Mack, Mike Schott, Chris Ennis, Monty Ferriera, with some new challengers expected to be on hand.
Saturday night, the front gate will open at 4:30pm with general admission tickets going on sale for $15 and student and seniors tickets on sale for $12.
