Fall Nationals Win Puts Exclamation Point on 2021 Season for McColloch Motorsports and Kalib Henry

PETERSEN MEDIA: As the holiday’s approach and the New Year sit on the horizon, McColloch Motorsports is able to look back and reflect on the 2021 season that culminated with a win at one of California’s premier events, the Pacific Sprint Fall Nationals in Chico, CA.

“Overall, 2021 was a season that we had a ton of speed, but we had to battle through some ups and downs,” Kalib Henry said. “On a personal level, I was battling back from a concussion at the beginning of the season that I endured during the off season, and I had my work cut out for myself getting back up to speed and it was challenging.”

Though Henry was on the mend early, the team was able to show speed early and often with Henry earning numerous Fast Time awards and recording some Top-5 and Top-10 finishes with the ultra-tough Sprint Car Challenge Tour.

Though wins alluded the McColloch’s RV Repair/Davis Truck Painting/Driven Homes backed No. 17 machine, Henry would continually remain a threat and in the hunt as the team would tally 6 Top-5 finishes, and Eight Top-10 finishes during their 15 races together over the course of the season.

As Henry’s felt healthier as the season progressed, the results would continue to improve as he would string together a trio of three straight top-five finishes in the late summer and early Fall months and had the team clicking as they headed to Chico, CA for the Pacific Sprint Fall Nationals in early October.

In one of the most popular events in Northern California, the team would have their best weekend of the year. With 66 cars checked in to the opening night of the two-day extravaganza, Henry would pick up his fourth straight Top-5 finish as he landed on the podium and ran third.

With even more cars in action on Saturday night, Henry rose to the occasion in the 40-lap feature event. That summer of ups and downs culminated with Henry and McColloch Motorsports picking up a monumental win during the Fall Nationals finale.

Though the season would end on a bit of a sour note with incidents in Hanford, CA and Stockton, CA, McColloch Motorsports looks at the season as a success as they continue to build towards 2022.

“We really came on strong at the end of the season, and it is a testament to the McColloch Motorsports team,” Henry added. “Winning the Fall Nationals was the highlight of the year and it really means a lot to add my name to that list of winners. I am thankful to the McColloch family for this opportunity they provide me, they are a great family to race with and I look forward to the year ahead.”

McColloch Motorsports would like to thank McColloch’s RV Repair, Davis Truck Painting, Driven Homes, Inc., ART Speed Equipment, RE Technologies, Hansen Machine, ADCO Driveline, and Gary Morgan Graphics for their continued support.

BY THE NUMBERS: Starts: 15, Wins: 1, Top-5’s: 6, Top-10’s- 8

ON TAP: McColloch Motorsports’ 2021 season has concluded.
