Justin Sanders and Antaya Motorsports Score with ASCS Lone Star Region

PETERSEN MEDIA: California slowly gets racing action back underway in 2020, Justin Sanders and Larry Antaya Motorsports have spent the last few weeks in the Midwest, and Saturday night the team scored their first win of the season as they won at 105 Speedway in Cleveland, Texas.

“The car count was a little light, but we still took advantage of an opportunity to get a race in at a new track and had some success,” Justin Sanders said. “Looking forward to getting back to work this weekend at battling with the All Star Circuit of Champions.”

After picking up a Top-10 during the West Texas Crude Nationals earlier in May, Sanders and company returned to action on Saturday night. Pulling the second row for his heat race, Sanders looked very comfortable in the Fire Protection Management/Alkaline 88/North County Plastering backed No. 16a entry.

Making a couple nice moves, the Aromas, CA driver would flex his muscle early and pick up the heat race win.

Moving into the nightly redraw, Sanders would continue to have good fortune in the Lone Star state as the one pill placed him on the pole of the feature event.

Looking for his first win of the 2020 season, Sanders was extremely strong off the front row. Jumping out to the early lead, he would never look back. Turning in a very dominant performance, Sanders was able to race to his first win in the state of Texas, as he and the team now ready for the All Star Circuit of Champions Thunder Through the Plains which kicks off this Friday night.

“Thanks to everyone that supports this race team, and has allowed us to get to the Midwest and get some racing in,” Sanders added. “This next 11 day stretch will be tough, but I am looking forward to the challenge ahead.”

Justin and Larry Antaya Motorsports would like to thank Fire Protection Management, Alkaline 88, North County Plastering, Roadside 24 Hour Service, Wicked Cushion, FK Rod Ends, DMI, Triple X Race Co., Walker Filtration, FK Shocks, and Wings Unlimited for their support in 2020.
