PETERSEN MEDIA- Over the weekend in Chico, CA, Jonathan Allard and Jason Meyers both climbed aboard Tarlton Motorsports machines. After a tough Friday night, the duo came out strong on Saturday night as Meyers would finish in the fourth spot, and Allard would finish sixth.
Making his first start since the Peter Murphy Classic, Meyers would pick up a 12th place finish on Friday night.
Returning to action on Saturday, Meyers would time his Elite Landscape Construction/Executive Auto Sales/Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino backed No. 21x machine in 12th fastest on Saturday night before a fourth place finish during his heat race.
Lining up in the eighth row of the feature event, the two-time World of Outlaws champion would run a very patient 40-lap feature event as he methodically worked his way forward.
Battling through the Top-10, Meyers would pounce on a late race opportunity that would see him work up to the fourth spot at the finish line.
Making his first ever start with Tarlton Motorsports over the weekend, Jonathan Allard would bounce back from a tough opening to time the Pabco Gypsum/Bandy and Associates/All Star Performance backed No. 21 machine in 13th fastest in time trials.
Lining up seventh in his heat race, the Chico, CA driver would work his way up to a fourth place finish during his heat race and would then find himself in the 13th starting spot for the 40-lap feature event.
Allard would turn in a fine showing that saw him quickly work his way forward and into the Top-Five. Running solidly in the fourth spot, some contact in traffic would get Allard out of sorts and it would result in him closing the weekend out with a sixth place finish.
