PETERSEN MEDIA- A strong couple of weeks with the Midwest Open Wheel Association has Parker Price-Miller in the middle of a hotly contested series championship as he is 22 markers back after a pair of podium finishes.

“We have been really good as of late, and it was another strong weekend for our race team,” Parker Price-Miller said.

Checking in at the La Salle Speedway on Saturday night, Price-Miller’s night would get off to a bit of a slow start as he got the FlyingAG/Royal Life Centers/360 Yield entry upside down during hot laps. Getting things fixed, the Kokomo, IN driver would lay down the fifth fastest lap during time trials before recording a fifth place finish during his heat race.

Lining up in the second row of the feature event, Price-Miller wasted no time moving into the second spot. Once in the runner up spot, Price-Miller and the race leader would put on an epic battle that lasted nearly all race long.

In the closing laps of the feature event, Price-Miller would pull alongside the leader, and would make the pass for the lead going down the backstretch with two laps to go, but coming to the flag stand he would see the yellow flag, and his pass would be negated.

The ensuing restart would see Price-Miller stay in line for the final two laps as he would tally a second place finish.

Heading to the Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, WI on Sunday night, ‘The Law Firm’ timed in seventh fastest and picking up a second place finish during his heat race.

Lining up in the fifth row of the feature event, Price-Miller would make a couple of big moves early as he got into the sixth spot. Working the middle in turns one and two, Price-Miller could go anywhere he needed in turns three and four and found himself up in the third spot.

Battling for the second position, Price-Miller would see the leader race out of his sights, and would take the checkered flag in the third spot, to give him his fourth podium finish in his last five races.

“We were really far out of the points chase at the beginning of the Summer, but we have really raced well and are right in the thick of it all,” Price-Miller added. “We will continue to keep doing what we have been doing and hopefully win a couple more races and things begin to wind down.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank FlyingAG, Royal Life Centers, 360 Yield Center, Pfister, Encirca, Valvoline, Townline Variety, Indy Race Parts, and Agee Farms for their support in 2016.

ON TAP: PPM and the Agee Motorsports team will be at the Attica Raceway Park on Friday night and at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN on Sunday night.
