PETERSEN MEDIA- Taking the reigns to the Roth Motorsports No. 83SR machine to tune up for this week’s 22nd Annual Trophy Cup, ‘The Wild Child’, Jac Haudenschild thrilled the Thunderbowl Raceway crowd as he rode the wall to a third place finish with the King of the West Series.
Taking advantage of one last chance to get laps at the Thunderbowl Raceway prior to the Trophy Cup, Haudenschild timed the Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation/3H Cattle No. 83SR machine in fifth fastest.
Picking up a third place finish during his heat race, the Wooster, OH product would advance to the feature event where he would take the green flag from the fifth row, on what was an uncharacteristically heavy and fast Thunderbowl raceway surface.
With many drivers using the bottom of the speedway, Haudenschild was having none of it, as he was bound and determined to make the high side work as he ran right next to the intimidating Thunderbowl Raceway wall.
Battling with his Roth Motorsports teammate, Kyle Hirst, ‘The Wild Child’ was able to get by him as he chased after Bud Kaeding and Carson Macedo who ran just ahead of him.
Getting into the third spot late in the race, Haudenschild tried taking advantage of a late restart, but could not get by Carson Macedo and ended his Trophy Cup tune up with a very nice third place finish.
