Tim Kaeding and Bates-Hamilton Racing Set for King of the West Title Hunt in 2021

PETERSEN MEDIA: With racing action set to begin in California in the coming weeks, Bates-Hamiton Racing is pleased to announce that San Jose, CA pilot, Tim Kaeding will return to the seat of the No. 42x machine in 2021 for his fourth season as the team will turn its main focus to the King of the West Schedule.

“I am really excited to have 2020 over with and hopefully have some more freedom in 2021,” Tim Kaeding said. ‘The BHR team and I are pumped to get in a lot of racing this season.”

With 2021 schedules extremely tentative as of now due to ongoing California mandates, to early plan for the R&B Company/Vinyltech PVC Pipe/Clow Valve backed No. 42x machine will be to attack the KWS/Narc Schedule and supplement their schedule with West Coast World of Outlaws races in the fall, as well as big 360ci races such as both Trophy Cup’s, and the Fall Nationals in Chico, CA where they are the defending race champions.

As it currently sits now, Kaeding and company will run 40 races up and down the Golden State, however, should things change they are fully prepared to take their program on the road as they have already done this year as they took part in the inaugural Wild Wing Shootout in Arizona back in January.

“We have a really cool schedule in place, and it has a few open dates that will allow me to travel a little as well,” Kaeding added. “I hope we can come out running hard, make some noise, and let everyone know we will be a threat all year long.”

Heading into 2021 Kaeding has two KWS crowns to his credit coming with Wright One Motorsports in 2002, and Roth Motorsports in 2011. He currently sits second on the series’ All Time Wins list with 68 victories, trailing only his father Brent who has 84 triumphs to his credit.

TK and Bates-Hamilton Racing would like to thank R&B Company, Vinyltech PVC Pipe, Clow Valve, ADS, Dan Ewart Sales, B Scadden Designs, Oldcastle Infrastructure, Star Pipe Products, Tigre, SIP, Custom Pipe and Fabrication, Kaeding Performance, Kistler Engines, Capitol Custom Trailers, RTR, Van Lare Steering Repair, Dirt Solutions, Warehouse Paint, ART, Performance Powder Coating, Scott Taylor Racing, and Don Ott Racing Engines for their support this season.
