PETERSEN MEDIA: Coming off of a frustrating weekend with the Civil War Series, Steven Tiner is looking forward to getting back to work on Friday night at the Keller Auto Speedway for the opening night of the Battle For The Milk Can mini-series.

“It was a rough weekend, and I am already looking forward to getting back to Hanford, CA on Friday night, as we kick off the ‘Battle For the Milk Can’ mini series,” Tiner said.

After suspension trouble in the B Main on Saturday night during the Mel Hall Memorial, Tiner made the trip to the Silver Dollar Speedway on Sunday night.

With suspension issues continuing to plague him, Tiner was able to move into the feature event, only to be involved in an opening lap tangle that would again see his night come to an early end.

“It was just a weekend where anything that could go wrong, did go wrong for this team,” Tiner added. “For whatever reason, Memorial Day weekend hasn’t been kind to me over the last few years.”

Already with a win at the Keller Auto Speedway in 2015, Tiner currently sits second in the Championship standings, and will look to take command of the point lead this Friday night, and also get a strong start in the Battle For Milk Can series.

“It has been fun at the Keller Auto Speedway so far in 2015, and I am looking forward to seeing how this mini-series goes,” Tiner added. “There is some added money on the line for the next four races, and I am hoping we can continue to run well, and take some of it home with us.”

Steven and his Steven Tiner Racing team would like to thank Larry Davis Farms, Wright Process Systems, Elma Lanes, Deli Delicious, Fisher Racing Engines, Harvest Supply, Powder Coat-It, SRP, Wilwood, FSR, XYZ Machine, DMI, Dan Olson Race Products, HRP, Sander Engineering, Sweet Manufacturing, Schoenfeld, and Roseville Precision for their continued support.

2015 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-9, Wins-2, Top 5’s-5, Top 10’s-7

ON TAP: Steven Tiner will be in action at the Keller Auto Speedway on Friday night, and will hopefully make the tow to the Placerville Speedway on Saturday night to compete with the Civil War Series presented by Flowmaster.
