Sean Becker Third at NARC Opener
PETERSEN MEDIA- Getting the 2025 season underway on Saturday night with Bjork Motorsports, Sean Becker has a great showing as he raced his way to a third place finish as the team aims to chase the full NARC slate this season.
“We had a really fast car all night, but I just failed to do my job a secure us a heat race win,” Sean Becker said. “That kept us from the Dash and put us a little further back in the starting line up.”
A total of 25 cars checked in at The Stockton Dirt Track to kick off 410ci racing in CA, and Becker got off to a strong start as he timed the Bjork Construction No. 7B entry in seventh fastest in qualifying time trials.
Lining up on the front row of his heat race, the Roseville, CA was in a spirited battle for the top spot, which also included a trip to the Dash, but settling for second he found himself in the fourth row of the 30-lap feature event.
Jumping into sixth as the feature event came to life, an extended green flag run saw Becker work his way into fifth as the leaders reached the back of the field and began the lapping process.
Navigating slower traffic around the tight confines of the Stockton Dirt Track surface, Becker raced into fourth before a couple of late stoppages halted progress.
Moving into third on one of the restarts, Becker briefly raced into second, before losing the spot to Shane Golobic on the 29th lap. Battling with Golobic on the final lap for the second position, Becker accepted the checkered flag with a third place finish.
“Fortunately we still were able to star seventh, and that put us in position to bounce around the Top-5 in the early part of the race,” Becker added. “We got better as the race went, and we almost snagged the second spot in the final laps. It was a great firs night out with our team.”

ON TAP: Becker and the Bjork Motorsports team return to action with NARC after the High Limit Racing West Coast swing concludes. The team will be at Ocean Speedway on April 4th and back at Stockton on April 5th.
