PETERSEN MEDIA- Fresh off the news that Tanner Holmes was making the move to Buch Motorsports to run a full High Limit schedule in 2026, the Jacksonville, OR driver had one finale race with Tarlton Motorsports on the books and he had a nice final outing with the team as he pocketed a fifth place finish.

“It was a great way to end our time together,” Tanner Holes said. “Despite the track being tough to pass on much of the night, we had a great speed and came away with a really solid finish.”

With 22 cars in the pit area, Holmes timed the Tarlton and Son Inc./American Rock and Rent/Executive Auto Sales backed No. 21 in sixth fastest in time trials, and lined up on the front row of his heat race.

Settling into second on the extremely fast and tight racing surface, Holmes held down the spot as he ripped around the tight bullring.

Finishing second, Holmes secured the eighth starting spot in the final NARC 30-lap feature of the 2025 season.

When the race came to life, Holmes was quickly up into sixth as a couple of early cautions slowed the early goings of the race. Once things settled in and the race got into rhythm, Holmes was able to work into fifth and chase after the likes of Tim Kaeding and DJ Netto who ran ahead of him.

Though traffic helped tighten things up at the front of the field, there wasn’t a ton of passing opportunity. Continuing to hold down fifth, Holmes capped his 2025 season with Tarlton Motorsports off with a fifth place finish.

“I really felt like we were as good as anyone out there in the feature, but just didn’t quite have enough room to move around,” Holmes said. “With our time together coming to an end, I really want to thank Tommy Tarlton and the entire Tarlton family for the opportunity to run such an iconic car this season. I always want to thank Drew Warner and everyone that helped on the car all year. They made it such a fun season, and one that I will never forget.”
