PETERSEN MEDIA: Despite a huge set back in his 410 program to start the 2017 season, Justyn Cox and the Cox Family Racing team are ready to return to 410 action this weekend as they are set to take part in the 27th Annual Dave Bradway Jr Memorial this weekend.
“It was a tough start to our season, and it was frustrating to hurt our two 410’s in the first couple of nights of racing,” Justyn Cox said. “Luckily we were able to get it put back together in time for the Bradway, and that has us all excited as this is a huge race in the area.”
Since that tough start to the season, Cox has been forced into strictly 360 action during the month of April, and he has found some success as he recently picked up his first win of the season at Placerville Speedway.
With his 410 engines getting put back together, he is happy to be able to get back to racing with the KWS when his schedules allows.
“It’s nice to have options now that we have our 410 back,” Justyn Cox said. “We really got our program going in the right direction at the end of last year, and hopefully we can continue that trend this Friday and Saturday night in Chico, CA.”
