James McFadden and Roth Motorsports Up the Ante In 2024 and Will Contest High Light Racing Championship

PETERSEN MEDIA- Heading into their third season together, James McFadden and Roth Motorsports will look to continue the momentum from a strong 2023 season as they are set to chase after the new High Limit Racing championship in 2024.

“I am looking forward to another season with Roth Motorsports and working with (Crew Chief) Brent Ventura,” James McFadden said. “Over the last year and a half, we have built a great relationship and we understand each other really well, and that is a massive component in this sport. I feel the more we race together, the better we get, and we will have to be on our game every night with the High Limit Series.”

In 2023, McFadden had a breakout season on the World of Outlaws trail as he tallied six feature event wins with the series and added a win during the unsanctioned Front Row Challenge in Oskaloosa, IA to give him seven on the season, all while helping Toyota Racing Development (TRD) and Toyota Develop their 410ci engine package.

“I am equally as excited to be back working with the team at Toyota/TRD,” McFadden added. “Brent and I put a lot of work into our engines last year, and I feel like we have a good idea of what they like. The TRD engines are proven winners, they qualify extremely well, and they have become all around great pieces. The support TRD has provided me has been humbling with engines in Australia as well as our continued relationship in the USA, and I am very thankful for it. Dennis, Teresa, and Jason Roth have been nothing but supportive to me as well over the past two seasons, and I’m excited for our third season together in 2024.”

Crew Chief Brent Ventura is equally excited to continue to work with McFadden as the team embarks on a new challenge with the new High Limit Racing Series in 2024. “James has a never give up mentality that I truly admire, and it makes working with him that much more enjoyable, despite what challenges we might be up against on any given night,” Ventura said. “He is an extremely talented driver, he is very smart, and I am excited to build off of the speed we had in 2023. Toyota/TRD has been great to work with as we continue to develop their engines, and I am eager to get going again.”

“I am very happy to field two cars at the highest level of Sprint Car Racing, and we are all happy to have James McFadden continue to run with us at Roth Motorsports,” Dennis Roth, Owner of Roth Motorsports said. “He has done a great job for us over the course of the previous two seasons and represents us very well both on and off the track. Last year, James and the team were threats to win on any given night, and we look forward to the team being strong again in 2024 with Toyota/TRD engines as we chase after the High Limit Series Championship. We are very thankful to have some great partners behind us to allow us to take on such a big challenge.”

The team at Toyota/TRD is also excited about continuing the relationship with Roth Motorsports and James McFadden and support the efforts on the High Limit Racing trail.

“We are thrilled to support James as he takes on the first High Limit national tour,” said Andy Graves, Executive Technical Director, TRD. “James truly embraced our Sprint Car efforts with a career year in 2023 and helped us achieve marketable success in our first full-time season. We look forward to achieving additional success on track together this year.”

While the primary focus for McFadden and company will be the High Limit Racing schedule, the 60-race slate does give the team flexibility as they will contest several marquee World of Outlaws events as well in the season ahead.

The Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Mobil 1, Roth Enterprises, Toyota, TRD, HR Livestock Transportation, Roth Investments, Southern Pacific Farms, Speedway Engine Development Inc., Rider Racing Engines, All Star Performance, FK Rod Ends, Vahlco Wheels, AL Drive Lines, Factory Kahne, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Elite Wings, Kent Performance, Kaeding Performance, Mettec, P1, and Performance Racegear for their support.
