Chance Grasty Battles Through Tough Trophy Cup

PETERSEN MEDIA- Chance Grasty and the F&F Racing team were dealt a rough hand at the 2025 Trophy Cup, but despite the adversity the team never wavered as they fought from the C and ended up with a Top-10 in the Saturday night ‘B’.

“We had some good speed all weekend long, but things seemed to go against us,” Grasty said. “From a flat tire, to being stuck with nowhere to go when a car broke, the deck was stacked against us but my guys never gave up.”

Enduring a flat tire in the Thursday night ‘B’, Grasty was hoping for a better points night during Friday night prelim action. Lining up fourth in his heat race, Grasty got a great start as he moved into second and began to pressure for the lead.

While in second, Grasty found himself in a tough spot as the leader broke and with nowhere to go, Grasty was collected and got upside down. While the flip wasn’t terribly hard, Grasty opted to take the rest of the night off with his back a little tweaked.

Sitting low in event points, Grasty lined up behind the inversion cars in his Saturday night heat race as he went from ninth to eighth and lined up fourth in the ‘C’.

Able to win the ‘C’, Grasty kept his night alive as he moved into the ‘B’ where he took the green flag from 19th with six transfer positions up for grabs. With a very food Bushey Financial Services/C&H Motor Parts/Sierra Single Ply Roofing backed No. x1 underneath him, the Suisun, CA driver was able to work his way forward.

As he got rolling, Grasty was able to get into the Top-10 by time was against him. Racing his way into ninth, Grasty promptly saw the white flag, and then the checkered and he was on the outside looking in.

Disappointed with the finish, Grasty was still proud of his team’s effort.

“It really is a hard three days of racing, and my guys worked all through all of the adversity,” Grasty said. “I really appreciate all the support, and hope we can get back and redeem ourselves in 2026.”

F&F Racing would like to thank Bushey Financial Services, C&H Motor Parts, Sierra Single Ply Roofing, Wrayvon, CRV Carbon Solutions, Quick Change Liquid Energy, All Pro Heads, Engler, and Don Ott Racing Engines for their support.
