2022 Prep Underway for Cook Motorsports

PETERSEN MEDIA- After bringing the 2021 season to a close back in late November during two nights of action in Merced, CA, Washington based Cook Motorsports is continuing to prep for what is shaping up to be a busy season in 2022.

“All of us at Cook Motorsports are excited for the season to come,” Team Owner, Blake Cook said. “We are looking forward to getting our season started off in March in California, and then taking part in a busy season that will see us primarily run in Washington, but we are in the works of acquiring some additional funding that will allow us to run even more in California.”

With the Holiday season approaching, Cook Motorsports has been busy in the team’s shop getting new cars built and engines off to get freshened in preparations for a season that will see the team field two cars at Skagit Speedway at times when the track opens with new ownership in 2022.

The team is set to run with California youngster, Jayson Bright, who ran with the team during their final event of the season at Merced Speedway, as well as Trevor Cook, who is the son of Blake. At time of press, the team was still formulating schedules for both cars.

As 410ci racing makes a recharge in the Pacific Northwest in 2022, Cook Motorsports is also hoping to acquire enough sponsorship to obtain a 410ci engine to participate in some marquee events in Washington, as well as take part in numerous 410ci events that take place in California at the end of the season.

”We have a lot of exciting things in the works, and we are hoping to have more finalized and release a schedule and more plans after the Christmas and New Year holiday,” Cook added. “We are hoping to obtain additional marketing partners for the season ahead, so please reach out if your company is interested in coming on board. We do have a great group behind us already, and I would like to thank them for their support as well as thank all the individuals who contribute throughout each season.”

Cook Motorsports would like to thank Absolute Plumbing, Cook’s Contracting, CSR Builders, Shark Racing Engines, Cottage Grove Inn, Primetime Designs, Highline Performance, Les Schwab, and Cascade Pizza for their support.
