PETERSEN MEDIA- Over the last five years Rob and Sandra Watson of Watson’s Express Transport have played a pivotal role in Ian Madsen racing in his native Australia during his American offseason. With the offseason approaching quickly, Ian Madsen is pleased to announce he will pilot the Rob and Sandra Watson owned No. 66 machine for a 15-race tour during the months of December and January.

“We have put together a pretty good 15-race schedule, and I am really looking forward to racing for Rob and Sandra Watson,” Ian Madsen said. “They have really supported me, and made it possible for me race back home the last five years, so I am excited to drive their car, and hopefully win some races.”

Kicking off over the Christmas holiday, Madsen and the Watson’s Express Transport team will take to the Valvoline Raceway in Sydney, AU and take part in the always-competitive International Series Speedweek.

Following the International Series, the team will gear up for the Scott Darley Classic and then set their sights on the big week of racing that leads up to the Grand Annual Classic.

When the checkered flag falls on the Classic, the team will then head back to Sydney and bring their tour to a close as they take part in the Australian Championship where they fight for the right to be known as the Australian National Champion.

“Rob and Sandra have done a great job with their team over the years, and I am really excited to be in their personal car,” Madsen added. “We get to race for some big money, and race a lot at a track that I am really comfortable at so I am looking forward to it.”

Ian and his KCP Racing team would like to thank Logan Contractors Supply Inc., Aspen Aire, Team Kline Electric, Royal Flooring, Bobcat, TammyHeckart.com, Caliber Iowa, Quality Traffic Control, Flatrate, Inc., Speck USA, Bergen Paulsen, Coverage Direct, Finer Cuts Lawn and Landscape, Lucas Oil, and Revolution Race Gear for their support this season.
