PETERSEN MEDIA: A busy weekend of action across the country was highlighted by the long-standing rivalry of the PA Posse vs the World of Outlaws as the Outlaws spent the week in Pennsylvania.
Lance Dewease and his Kreitz Racing team were up for the challenge just as they have been so many times since joining forces. Dewease used his KSE Racing Products to pocket last Wednesday night’s Gettysburg Clash before capping the weekend off with a big win at the Morgan Cup.
Sandwiched in between Dewease’s wins, David Gravel scored his series leading third win of 2019 as he bested the field on Friday night during the opening night of the Morgan Cup at Williams Grove.
In California, the opening night of the Peter Murphy Classic went off with no hitch as Rico Abreu bested a stout field of Sprint Car Challenge Tour competitors and Austin Liggett continued his red-hot season as he won the USAC West Coast portion of the night.
In other USAC action, Tyler Courtney took top honors with the National Midget Series at Tri-City Speedway as Chris Windom won the Sprint Car portion of the event.
Other winners using KSE Racing Products include Sam Hafertepe, Jr, Terry McCarl, Tony Stewart, Jason Barney, Michael “Buddy” Kofoid, ‘T-Mez’, and Mark Dobmeier.
