PETERSEN MEDIA- Battling with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions over the weekend, Parker Price-Miller continued to stay hot. Though he finished 11th at Lernerville on Friday night, PPM would put on an impressive run from the back before tallying a second place finish on Saturday at Mercer Raceway Park.

“It was a really good weekend for our race team running so well on two slick tracks,” Price-Miller said. “I made a mistake on Friday and it cost us, but we were really good on both nights.”

Friday night at Lernerville Speedway, the Kokomo, IN driver opened his night up by timing the 360 Yield/Chalk Stix/Dupont backed No. 2 machine in fastest in qualifying time trials.

Lining up fourth in his heat race, ‘The Law Firm’ would pick up the win and advance into one of the twin dashes that the ASCoC uses. Running second in the first Dash, Price-Miller would line up in the second row for the feature event.

When the race came to life, Price-Miller looked to make a bold move around the outside of a fellow competitor but it would prove to be costly as he would end up sliding off the track to avoid a disaster.

Going back to the 27th position, Price-Miller would show how much speed he truly had as he was able to work his way back up to finish in the 11th spot with just a solo caution aiding him.

Regrouping and heading to Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday night, Price-Miller would time in third fastest and line up again in the second row of his heat race.

Picking up a second place finish, PPM would again move to the Dash where the win would put him on the pole of the feature event.

Seeing the green flag in the finale, Price-Miller would lose the drag race to Chad Kemenah and spend much of the race right on the series point leader’s rear bumper.

Getting into traffic, Price-Miller made a move for the lead but he would get his right rear off the racing surface and Kemenah would negate his effort. Following Kemenah for another four laps, PPM would get back to him and attempt to get by him again, but the yellow flag would fly and slow progress.

With Kemenah knowing Price-Miller over the race’s final laps, he would keep the Kokomo, IN driver behind him as PPM closed the weekend out with a second place finish.

“With Ohio Speedweek coming up and those tracks always going extremely slick, this was a good working weekend for our team,” Price-Miller said. “To have speed like that on the slick with the Summer here is also a really good feeling.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank 360 Yield, Dupont, Pioneer, FlyingAG, Agee Farms, Encirca, Chalk Stix, Bell Helmets, and PPM Titanium for their support in 2017.

ON TAP: Parker Price-Miller will battle with the IRA on Thursday night at Angell Park Speedway and will then meet back up with the All Stars on Saturday at Macon Speedway and on Sunday at 34 Raceway in Burlington, IA.
