PETERSEN MEDIA- With rain pushing the Friday night MOWA event at the Jacksonville Speedway to Saturday night, Parker Price-Miller would rally back from an opening lap incident to finish in the sixth spot and extend his series point lead with just four races left.

“I have to thank my guys, because if it wasn’t for them our night would have been over on lap one,” Price-Miller said. “We had a great car and really rallied in the feature and made it a good night.”

Timing the FlyingAG/Royal Life Centers/360 Yield No. 2 machine in fifth fastest on a very rough surface, Price-Miller would finish fourth in his heat race. Lining up in the 11th spot for the feature event, Price-Miller would find early issues.

With a pile up taking place in front of him, the Kokomo, IN driver would do his best to avoid any contact, but he would be unable to do so, and find himself with a mangled front end.

Taking a trip to the work area, Price-Miller’s team rolled their sleeves up and went to work, and got ‘The Law Firm’ back on track where he would find himself back in the 10th row for the restart.

Though the track challenging, Price-Miller let it all hang out as he carved his way through the field. When some had a tough time passing, PPM would work his way back into the Top-10 as he would come away with a sixth place finish.

“I am very glad we turned it into a good night,” Price-Miller added. “We really came alive and made up some ground over the summer months, so I know we would all like to finish this off.”

Price-Miller is also excited to announce that he will have the opportunity to fill in for a banged up Paul McMahan this week. After McMahan was involved in a vicious accident on Saturday night, Price-Miller got the call, and will meet up with the Destiny Motorsports team at the El Paso County Raceway in Colorado on Wednesday.

“I have some huge shoes to feel, but am very honored Paul and the Destiny Motorsports team though highly enough of me to give me this opportunity,” Price-Miller said. “I want to thank them, and hopefully I can do them proud this week.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank FlyingAG, Royal Life Centers, 360 Yield Center, Pfister, Encirca, Valvoline, Townline Variety, Indy Race Parts, and Agee Farms for their support in 2016.

ON TAP: PPM will fill in for Paul McMahan starting Wednesday night at the El Paso County Raceway in Colorado.
