PETERSEN MEDIA- Getting back home after opening his 2017 campaign up with the World of Outlaws, Parker Price-Miller had his best run of the season thus far on Saturday night in Beaver Dam, WI where he picked up a third place finish with the IRA.

“We had a really good car on Saturday night, and I took a chance it traffic that may have cost us the win and even second,” Price-Miller said. “It felt great to be back in the mix of things and battling up front.”

The Kokomo, IN driver got his night started off by timing the Chalk Stix/360 Yield/Pioneer backed No. 2 sprinter in third fastest in qualifying time trials.

Lining up in the second row of his heat race, Price-Miller would continue to show speed in his Agee Motorsports entry as he raced his way to a second place finish, and found himself in the second row for the upcoming 30-lap feature event.

Moving into the feature event, Price-Miller would get off to a bit of a slow start as he messed up trying to work the bottom of the speedway and fell back to sixth in the running order.

Taking some of what he learned with the World of Outlaws in the first 2 months of his 2017 season, Price-Miller went to work on the high, scary side of the speedway as he began picking up positions at will.

Working back up into the second spot, PPM would reel in early leader, Bill Balog, and the fight for the lead was on. As Price-Miller made a bid for the top spot, he efforts would be negated by a pesky yellow flag.

The ensuing restart saw the young driver hang with the leader as they quickly found themselves mired in dense traffic. Guessing wrong in traffic, PPM would get trapped behind a slower car and it would allow Balog to get away as Price-Miller would actually fall into the third spot.

Unable to get back into second, PPM would close his night out with a third place finish.

“I gave it my all in traffic, but I just got beat,” PPM said. “I feel like I let my guys down, but it is still nice to get on the podium, and get laps at Beaver Dam before we come back with the World of Outlaws.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank 360 Yield, Pioneer, DuPont, FlyingAG, Agee Farms, Encirca, Chalk Stix, and PPM Titanium for their support in 2017.

ON TAP: Parker Price-Miller will be back in action with the World of Outlaws this Friday and Saturday night at Plymouth Speedway and Tri-State Speedway.
