PETERSEN MEDIA- Traveling back to Canada to team up with Hill’s Family Racing, Parker Price-Miller would finish third during the Canadian Nationals.

“I can’t thank the Hill’s Family Racing team enough for having me up to race with them,” Price-Miller said. “We have been good each night out together this year, and I really wanted to win this race for them.”

Friday night at the Ohsweken Speedway, ‘The Law Firm’ would work his way up to the fourth spot in heat race action from his third row starting spot, and line up in the sixth row of the his 15-lap A Main event.

When the green flag flew on the preliminary night A Main, Price-Miller would find himself back in the 14th spot before he was able to settle in and begin his charge to the front.

As the short feature clicked off at rapid pace, Price-Miller showed some very good speed as he was able to race his way back inside the Top-10 and finish in the sixth spot.

Coming back on Saturday night for the Canadian Nationals finale, Price-Miller would flex his muscle early as he set quick time by two tenths of a second.

Again, lining up in the third row of his heat race, the Kokomo, IN driver would forge his way forward as he raced into the second spot making a bid for the top spot but simply running out of laps.

Taking the Canadian Nationals green flag from the fourth row, Price-Miller would jump in the fourth spot on the opening lap, before he moved into the third spot on a lap eight restart.

Tracking down the lead duo as the leaders got into traffic, Price-Miller would overtake the second spot on lap 19, as he reeled in Steve Poirier who continued to set the pace.

Lap cars were not doing Price-Miller any favors on this night, but he would stay patient and slide up into the lead on the 30th lap, though Poirier would answer his challenge.

Two-laps later the battle would pick back up as the duo exchanged the top spot as they raced side-by-side, and Price-Miller would end up slipping back to the third spot.

On the last lap of the race, Price-Miller laid everything on the line as he went to the top and let it hang out. Catching the lead duo in the final corner, Price Miller did all he could, but as the lead trio finished three wide, Price-Miller would be scored third in what was the closest finish in event history.

“We didn’t run third due to lack of effort,’ Price-Miller said. “I gave it everything I could, and unfortunately we just came up short. Again, I really have to thank everyone who made this trip possible, and those that gave me a great car all weekend.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank PPM Titanium Products, Indy Race Parts, Keizer Wheels, CSI Shocks, Select Equipment, Wesmar Racing Engines, Esslinger, and Triple X Race Components for their continued support.
