PETERSEN MEDIA- Needing to fill the seat vacated by 2015 King of the West Champion, Carson Macedo, Tarlton Motorsports is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with Roth Motorsports that will see Two-Time King of the West Champion, Kyle Hirst, pilot the famed Tarlton Racing No. 21x machine with the King of the West Series in 2016.

“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to work with Tom Tarlton, Tommy Tarlton, and Paul Baines,” Kyle Hirst said. “They have first class equipment, and I think it will be a very fun year ahead.”

With Roth Motorsports electing to focus primarily on the World of Outlaws team in 2016, the two teams came together and put together a package that will allow Hirst to go for his third career King of the West Championship, and allow Tarlton Motorsports to defend their 2015 triumph.

“I really have to thank the entire Roth organization for continuing to support my racing career,” Hirst said. “I think this is a great package both Roth Motorsports and Tarlton Motorsports were able to put together, and we are all really excited to get started.”

“We are thrilled to welcome a talented driver like Kyle Hirst to our team, and work with a well known, and well respected, team like Roth Motorsports,” Tommy Tarlton said. “It was great for our sponsors to have a year like Carson had last year, and we look forward to the challenge of defending the King of the West Title with Kyle Hirst. When the idea came up it seemed like a good fit especially with both shops being on Fig Avenue.”

As it stands now, Hirst’s first race aboard the Roth Motorsports/Elite Landscape Construction/Tarlton and Son Inc. No. 21x machine will be with the King of the West Series on April 23rd in Placerville, CA.

“With the Roth Motorsports shop and the Tarlton Motorsports shop both being located on Fig Ave., we used to joke about being the Fig Ave Posse for years, so for this to all come to fruition is kind of funny, and a very cool deal,” Tarlton Motorsports Crew Chief, Paul Baines said. “I think Kyle Hirst is one of the best drivers in the state right now, and I am excited to work with him and see what we can do.”

Kyle Hirst and the Tarlton Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Motorsports, Elite Landscape Construction, Tarlton and Son, Inc., Executive Auto Sales, Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, Pabco Gypsum, Bandy and Associates, All Star Performance, Corporate America Investments, and BG Lubricants for their support through the 2016 season.

ON TAP: Kyle Hirst will make his debut aboard the Tarlton Motorsports entry on April 23rd in Placerville, CA.

2016 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-1, Wins-0, Top 5’s-0, Top 10’s-0
