THE Challenge at Cycleland Speedway Kicks Off Saturday

PETERSEN MEDIA: Tiner Hirst Enterprise partners Steven Tiner and Kyle Hirst are both cut from championship pedigrees. Looking to give back to the youth movement in motorsports, THE is pleased to announce ‘THE Challenge” that will follow the Open 500 division’s season long points chase at the famed Cycleland Speedway in Chico, CA.

“We both know what it takes to win championships in motorsports, and we both know that is hard work and it goes beyond just being good on the track,” Kyle Hirst and Steven Tiner said. “We are pumped to award the 2020 Open 500 division champion an opportunity to wheel the Tiner Hirst Development car during a Friday night of racing action at Silver Dollar Speedway.”

Since the inception of Tiner Hirst Enterprise just under two years ago, Tiner and Hirst both had the passion and desire for a driver development program and saw that come to life in 2019 with Ben Worth driving the Tiner Hirst Development (THD) entry.

With Worth landing a ride with Southern Pacific Farms Racing in 2020, THE chalked the first year up to a success, and are excited to take another step with THD.

Away from THD, Hirst and Tiner were able to capture the Sprint Car Challenge Tour Title in 2019 in their first year racing together in the THE House Car, giving them another boost to a couple of impressive resumes that include multiple SCCT titles, multiple KWS/NARC Titles, as well as Placerville and Kings Speedway Championships, and multiple Cycleland Speedway Championships.

“Winning a championship is more than just winning a race, or winning a group of races,” the two added. “We are confident that whomever wins the championship at Cycleland Speedway this year will be a worthy pilot to hop in our car for one night and possibly help launch their Sprint Car career.”

The Tiner Hirst Enterprise Racing team would like to thank Tiner Hirst Enterprise, Larry Davis Farms, GP Development, Wright Process Systems, Fisher Racing Engines, K1 Race Gear, Wilwood, XYZ Machine, HRP, FK Rod Ends, Kevin Sharrah Designs, Prior Engineering, System One Pro Ignition, Sweet Manufacturing, Sway Away, Schoenfeld, Warehouse Paint, and Roseville Precision for their continued support.

ON TAP: With Cycleland Speedway opening up on Saturday night, it marks the first night of THE Challenge, as Tiner Hirst Enterprise will award the 2020 Open 500 Champion a night in the Tiner Hirst Development No. 94 Machine.
