PETERSEN MEDIA- Despite running an intermittent schedule, Tommy Tarlton continues to put up great finishes and run up front in each and every start as he finished third on Friday night in Watsonville, CA.

“I have to thank my guys for always having a strong car ready for me,” Tommy Tarlton said. “It really makes it fun when you can run up front despite being away for a couple of weeks.”

Friday night in Watsonville, CA, Tarlton timed the Elite Landscape Construction/Tarlton and Son, Inc./Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino entry in seventh fastest.

Heat race action would see the Easton, CA driver slip back to slick in the early stages of the race, before a big time move would see him rocket to the lead and race his way to the win.

Moving into the Dash because of his heat race victory, Tarlton would go from sixth to fifth aboard the Executive Auto Sales/Pabco Gypsum/Bandy and Associates mount putting him in the third row for the 30-lap ‘A’.

Quickly jumping up to the third spot, Tarlton would chase after Cory Eliason and Michael Kofoid as they quickly got into lapped traffic. With the track staying even for everyone on this night, you would have to make your moves in traffic or wait to capitalize on a mistake.

With only one caution flag flying on this night, opportunities to move into the top-two simply did not come, and Tarlton would hang on to finish on the final spot on the podium.

“This is fun racing with these guys, and I am thankful to get on the podium with some great young drivers,” Tarlton added. “Thanks to all the companies that support this team.”

Tarlton Motorsports would like to thank Elite Landscape Construction, Tarlton and Son, Inc., Executive Auto Sales, Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, Pabco Gypsum, Bandy and Associates, All Star Performance, and BG Lubricants for their support through the 2017 season.
