PETERSEN MEDIA- Taking the last weekend off, Shawn Wright is eager to get back to the newly named, Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, CA on Friday night as he once again takes on ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’, the World of Outlaws.
“We did run Placerville last week, and the track stayed pretty fast early in the night, and it did not make for the best racing I thought,” Wright said. “This weekend we head to Hanford, CA, and I am excited to get down there as it is one of my favorite tracks, and one I have the most laps around.”
After timing the Wright Process Systems/A.R.T./Wilwood backed No. 99 machine in 25th fastest on Wednesday, Wright would end up 10th in his heat race before taking a trip to the B main, where he would finish in the 11th spot, and his night would come to a close.
“It was not the night we were looking for, but we have already put it behind us,” he said.
As the World of Outlaws wrap up there California tour this weekend, Wright will strap in against them one final time this Spring as they invade Hanford, CA on Friday night.
