Ryan Bernal Scores USAC/CRA Win at Mohave Valley Speedway
PETERSEN MEDIA: Shedding the wings and heading to Mohave Valley Speedway with Tom Dunkel Racing and Josh Ford Motorsports, Ryan Bernal returned to his winning way as he topped the USAC/CRA field.
“It was a really good weekend, and I am so glad to get the JFM and TDR guys back into victory lane,” Ryan Bernal said. “We had a perfect car in the feature event and it allowed me to stay committed to the top and reel Austin Williams in.”
Getting the night off to a great start, Bernal timed the NOS Energy Drink/Inland Rigging/MPe backed entry in fastest in qualifying which also established a New Track Record at the Arizona facility.
Lining up in the third row of his heat race, the Hollister, CA native turned Roseville, CA resident was able to pick up a few positions as he battled his way to a third place finish which locked him into the feature event, and kept him in the inversion.
Taking the green flag from the sixth starting position, Bernal went to work up top, and slowly made his way to the front.
Chasing after Ricky Lewis and Austin Williams who ran ahead of him, Bernal was into third and then quickly moved to second as he chased after Williams who set a very strong pace out front.
Patiently chasing after Williams, Bernal made his move on the 18th lap and took command of the race on lap 19. Once out in front, he never looked back as he scored his first series win over three years.
“It is great to finally get another USAC/CRA win after coming close at Calistoga back in September,” Bernal said. “Thanks to everyone that supports our team and makes sure we have a fast car on the track.”
Ryan Bernal and TDR would like to thank NOS Energy Drink, Inland Rigging, JFM, BOXO, Dunkel Farms, Keizer Wheels, BR Motorsports, Pacific Highway Rentals, King racing Products, HBC, Maverick, RB Inserts, Osborne Speed and Machine, SURECAN, MPe, and Woodland Auto Display for their support.
JFM would like to thank NOS Energy Drink, Inland Rigging, MPe, SURECAN, Woodland Auto Display, Beilman Motorsports, and 1Way Technologies for their support in 2025.
